In a surprising collaboration that breaks traditional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of prohibited practices and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden cult.
The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Bonus Features
Players who finish the quest will obtain an special katana alongside multiple objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
